Two events are coming up that will be great information opportunities. On Monday, January 25 there's a workshop entitled "Peace, Love, Harmony - and the IFSP/IEP?" that will be held at the Fine Arts Auditorium at North Oconee High School, from 6 to 8 pm. A facilitator from Parent to Parent of Georgia will give information and ideas on planning for effective parent/teacher meetings, for maximum benefits for students with disabilities. On Saturday, January 31, from 9 am to 1 pm, there is a Transition Fair at Walton Career Academy in Monroe (212 Bryant Road), that will have lots of information for families of students with disabilities, including breakout sessions on estate planning, medicaid waivers, vocational rehab, summer recreation, and more.
