Georgia Aquarium Camp H2O

Happy Earth Day!  In honor of Earth Day, I wanted to let you know about an opportunity for learning about the environment this summer.  The Georgia Aquarium offers Camp H2O throughout the summer to give kids an inside look at the animals and environments of the aquatic realm.  During the first week of June, staff and counselors, in collaboration with the Marcus Institute, offer a week of camp experience for children with special needs!  Campers will learn about the animals and their habitats as they explore the galleries at the Georgia Aquarium. Campers will create a travel scrapbook by compiling drawings, journal entries and more, reinforcing their experience by engaging in arts and craft projects, games and other activities.  This experience is designed for children ages 5 - 8.  For more information, visit Camp H2O.
