The Georgia Association for Positive Behavior Support will hold its 10th Annual Conference on Tuesday and Wednesday, November 28 & 29, at Infinite Energy Center in Duluth. That's only about an hour's drive, and there will be tons of information and opportunities to learn. A weighted blanket can literally be a lifesaving device for entire families where someone is not sleeping or suffering from some form of sensory processing disorder. Weighted blankets can help with improving sleep, and can also be used on the couch or in the car as a calming tool and for improving focus. Sharing the Weight is a non-profit that provides weighted blankets to children with disabilities free of charge! Check out their website here: http://www.sharingtheweight.org/.
