Transition to College

At the Northeast Georgia Disability Conference this past Saturday, there was an interesting discussion on how to plan for accommodations in college, for students with learning differences. Many parents believe that students who have an IEP in high school will automatically receive those same services in college - and that is not accurate!  It's important to do your research; Understood.org is a great resource for information on issues related to attention and learning challenges, including planning for the transition to college life.  Check out this link: College Prep @ Understood.org
